ARTISTS WORKING AT THE CENTRE

WELCOME to 'The Gallery'. As part of the public engagement programme, the MRC Centre is working with creative artists and writers to understand the world of patients, and to explore ideas of genetics, psychiatry and mental health.

We are currently collaborating with installation artists, animators and short story writers.

Their work will be uploaded to 'The Gallery'. In the meantime, and as a taster, above are pieces of work by Artist and Collaborator 'Julia Thomas' who has a former career in genetics and statistics and an MA in 'Arts and Health' from the University of Glamorgan and Rhys Bevan Jones, a researcher in the field of psychiatry at Cardiff University.
