Dr. Paul Keedwell delivers a talk on neuroscience and philosophy to a 70 strong public at the Gate Arts Centre as part of the Philosophy Café series.
Cardiff has its own Philsophy Café run by Dr. Chris Groves at the Gate Arts Centre. Members of the MRC Centre have been popular speakers.

Dr. Jamie Lewis (MRC CNGG) and Dr. Choon Key Chekar spoke about the 'Ethics of Biotech: Who Decides on Stem Cell Research?'
On the 19th January 2010:
Dr. Nigel Williams (MRC CNGG) and Dr. Michael Arribas-Ayllon presented on 'Personal Responsibility and Genomic Science'.
On the 16th March 2010:
Dr. Paul Keedwell (MRC CNGG) and Prof Chris Norris (ENCAP) presented on 'Neuroscience and Philosophy'.
On the 15th February 2011:
Dr. Anthony Isles (MRC CNGG) and Dr. Michael Arribas Ayllon (SOCSI) presented on 'The Nature of Nurture: Epigenetics and Ethics'.
On the 21st June 2011:
Julia Thomas (Univeristy of Glamorgan) and Rhys Bevan Jones (Dept of Psychological Medicine) presented on 'Art, the Mind and Mental Illness'.
